2 slices bread,
toasted and buttered
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 round onion, chopped
2 eggs
2 tsp oil
2 cups water (or more)1 tsp vinegar (optional)
dash of salt & pepper
Place bread in soup bowl. Sauté chopped onion in oil. Add
tomato sauce, water, and seasoning, bring to a boil. Break eggs
into boiling mixture (as you would in making poached eggs). Cook
until eggs are done. Pour over bread.
