Lupine Beans (Tramosh)

5 cups of dried Lupine beans

Soak overnite, covered with water, in container large enough to accommodate the beans swelling to double in size. Drain. Put beans in pot, covered with fresh water and after water has come to a boil, cook for an hour. Drain.

Cover cooked beans in fresh water and add about ½ cup Hawaiian salt. Change water every day, adding fresh water and salt for 4 to 5 days. Beans should be delicious, somewhat like eating boiled peanuts. Continue to store beans in salted water until eaten. Enjoy!
