Portuguese Boiled Dinner
1 or 2 Portuguese Sausage links
1 Cabbage
2 or 3 Carrots
2 Potatoes
1 or 2 Pipinola Squash
1 or 2 large cloves garlic
1 or 2 chili peppers
Hawaiian salt, about 2 tablespoons
Cut the potatoes, carrots and squash into large chunks, cut cabbage in half or
quarters. Layer all in large pot with enough water to cover vegetables. Bring to
a boil and simmer for about 45 minutes.
Vegetables may vary depending on choice and the amount of garlic, chili pepper
and salt may be altered to please one’s preference.
